Job summary

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to implement care plans and manage ventilation for diverse critical care settings.

The role requires a Virginia-licensed RCP with CRT or RRT credentials, BLS at hire, ACLS within 90 days, and NRP as required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing within Virginia.
• CRT or RRT certification with required experience.
• BLS Provider CPR required at hire; ACLS within 90 days.
• NRP required within 90 days for NICU per site policy; NBRC credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent and compassionate patient- and family-centered care with interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Administers respiratory therapies and assesses patient responses with minimal supervision.
• Evaluates treatment plans and adjusts as needed; manages mechanical ventilation.
• Documents ventilator care plans and communicates with the care team.
• Maintains equipment and trains patients and family members in care tasks.
