Job summary

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas seek a Registered Respiratory Practitioner III to direct care in the intensive care unit. The role requires an accredited respiratory program, Nevada licensure, NBRC/NPS credentials, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP with at least one year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, directing, and implementing care to meet patients' needs, with ventilator management and ABG interpretation as core competencies to support

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Program.
• Licensed by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Nevada State license to perform arterial blood gases.
• Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care and the Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS) credential.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required.
• One year's experience in an acute care facility or freestanding practice with recent acute care Respiratory Therapist experience within the last six months.
• Critical Care and Ventilator Management experience in Adult and Pediatric/Neonatal settings.
• Prefer experience with ABGs, EKGs, ICU, preceptor experience, venous puncture, and line maintenance.

Responsibilities

• You will assess, plan, direct, and implement necessary activities to treat patients successfully.
• You will work in an intensive care setting.
