Job description

Sentara is currently hiring a Senior Respiratory Therapist. This is a Full Time position with Night shift hours. The position is located in Norfolk, VA at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

About Sentara Norfolk General Hospital

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the region’s first Magnet Hospital. It is a 525-bed medical center, home to the area's only Level I Trauma Center, Burn Trauma Unit, and Nationally Ranked Heart Program. The hospital also features Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several dedicated facilities and specialized services. It serves as the primary teaching hospital for undergraduate and graduate education for the adjacent Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Required Qualifications:

Education

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.

Certification/Licensure

• State Respiratory license
• NBRC RRT certification
• BLS certification required at the time of hire.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Care experience required.
