Job summary

Providence Swedish is hiring a Respiratory Therapist with leadership skills to help maintain standards and educate staff at the Issaquah location. You will review new equipment, support the manager in evaluating existing and new employees, and contribute to a patient-focused team culture.

The role requires WA licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS within 90 days, and at least 3 years of relevant clinical experience, with supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Accredited respiratory therapy program completed and eligible for licensure in WA.
• License required upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within specified timelines.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience; lead or supervisory experience preferred.

This position is responsible for keeping standards and procedures current, reviewing new equipment and supplies, maintaining and advancing the education of the therapists, and assisting the Manager in the annual evaluation of current employees and evaluation of new employees.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State.
• Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• 3 years of clinical experience appropriate to the area coordinated.
• Lead therapist experience or supervisory experience
