Job summary

KHR, partnered with a leading East Kent legal practice, seeks a Senior Residential Property Lawyer to join a well-established firm known for excellent client relationships and market leadership.

The role targets a candidate with substantial residential conveyancing experience who is ready for a senior-level position within a progressive, client-focused practice. You will lead complex matters, mentor juniors, and drive department growth, with hybrid working after probation.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or licensed conveyancer with substantial experience in residential property law.
• Experience handling complex and high-value property transactions.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with meticulous client care.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a substantial caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including leasehold, freehold, new builds, remortgages, lease extensions, and transfers of equity.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service throughout all transactions.
• Mentor and support junior members of the conveyancing team, offering guidance and sharing best practices where required.
• Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other local stakeholders.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the growth of the department.

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

KHR are partnered with one of East Kent’s leading legal practices; who have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional Senior Residential Property Lawyer to join their well-established firm known for its excellent client relationships and local market leadership.

This role is ideal for someone with significant expertise in residential conveyancing who is seeking a senior-level role within a progressive and client-focused practice.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Residential Property Lawyer:

• – Lead and manage a substantial caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including leasehold, freehold, new builds, remortgages, lease extensions, and transfers of equity
• – Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and high-quality service throughout all transactions
• – Mentor and support junior members of the conveyancing team, offering guidance and sharing best practices where required
• – Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other local stakeholders
• – Oversee and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
