Position: Senior Residential HVAC Service Technician

In this critical role, you'll be the face of our service division-troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems in residential homes with precision and professionalism.

We're looking for a highly skilled technician with a minimum of 7 years' experience in the field. Someone who's confident working independently, takes pride in doing the job right the first time, and is ready to help lead by example as we scale operations for the busy season.

Key Responsibilities

• Service & Diagnostics
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems
• Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups to ensure optimal performance
• Customer Communication
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners to explain service work, system conditions, and available options
• Build trust with customers through honest, knowledgeable service
• Documentation & Efficiency
• Accurately document service calls, recommendations, and completed work using digital tools
• Manage tools, inventory, and scheduling to ensure timely and effective service
• Mentorship & Leadership
• Provide guidance to junior techs or apprentices as needed
• Uphold company standards for service excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service and repair
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, electrical components, refrigerant charging, and diagnostics
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to first-time resolution
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused
