Job summary

Pave Talent seeks an experienced Estimator for a design-build residential contractor in San Diego. You will price whole buildings, guide scope and subcontractor bids, and present estimates with the salesperson as the technical voice.

Qualifications

• 10 years estimating new residential construction (custom homes, large additions, multifamily).
• Strong plan reading and working knowledge of California code and permitting.
• Experience pricing whole buildings, not one trade, and presenting numbers to homeowners or property owners.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, scope, pricing and subcontractor bids for every project.
• Provide 2–4 estimates per week with 2–10 active at a time.
• Present estimates to clients in person with the salesperson as the technical voice.
• Own the number from first site walk to handoff to the project manager.
