Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of counseling or related field experience.
• 15 semester hours of instruction in social services-related coursework.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts counseling sessions for individuals and groups in the residential setting.
• Assists students in pursuing advanced training opportunities (technical training or college).
• Maintains communications with students’ counselors, instructors, and other staff members.
• Supervises cafeteria, laundry, activities, and other program areas as scheduled.
• Maintains CIS case notes and required reports; follows safety practices.
• Works with admissions counselors and parents/guardians on student progress.
