Vinfen is hiring a Residential Counselor in Massachusetts to support Persons Served (PS) in a GLE/SIE residence. You will help implement PS Treatment Plans, manage medications under MAP, and support daily living activities to foster independence and safety.

Work with the Integrated Team to address needs, participate in group meetings, and assist with meals and site maintenance. Atrauma-informed, recovery-focused environment is emphasized.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a human service discipline preferred.
• 1 year as a residential counselor in a setting working with PS facing mental health challenges preferred.
• 1–2 years of job-specific experience in the human services field preferred.
• Bilingual/bicultural applicants encouraged to apply.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Program Director in orienting PS new to the residence.
• Collaborate with Integrated Team to address PS needs and implement treatment plan interventions.
• Perform day-to-day assignments as directed by the Program Director.
• Use recovery-oriented, person-centered, harm-reduction approaches with PS.
• Adhere to safety, maintenance, Human Rights and policies.
• Serve as Medication Officer, Safety Officer, and Human Rights Officer as assigned.
• Schedule and lead weekly PS group meetings in residence.
• Assist with groceries and meal preparation.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards and MAP policies.
• Encourage PS participation in residence operations and social activities.
