Job summary

Akos Construction seeks a skilled carpenter for residential remodels and light new work. You will perform framing, finish carpentry, window/door installs, and building envelope detailing to ensure high-end results.

Candidates should have strong problem-solving skills, ability to read plans, and provide precise layouts while coordinating with PMs and clients. Oregon-licensed drivers preferred; on-site, full-time work with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience on residential remodels.
• Ability to read plans, evaluate scope of work and budget.
• Supervisory experience of crews and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry and direct labor on the job.
• Evaluate plans, scope of work and budget before start of project. Ask questions before commencement.
• Attend pre-construction meetings with client and PM as needed.
• Layout work to be self-performed by Akos crews.
• Coordinate subcontractors on the jobsite.
• Supervise all labor at the jobsite.
• Interpret plans and provide detailed layouts for subcontractors.
