Bank of America seeks a seasoned Residential Appraiser to review and analyze appraisal reports for accuracy and adherence to USPAP and residential appraisal standards. The role requires licensing, at least five years of experience, and the ability to obtain reciprocal state licenses.

You will QA valuation outputs, identify deficiencies, and participate in projects related to process improvement and risk controls. Strong communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Certified Residential Appraisal Credential in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years appraisal field experience with complex property assignments.
• Ability to obtain multiple state appraisal reciprocal licensing based on regulatory compliance needs.
• Thorough understanding of USPAP, regulatory guidelines, appraisal theory, and methodology governing residential real property.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to deliver clear messages to diverse audiences.
• Ability to research, analyze and resolve complex valuation issues.
• Ability to work independently and triage escalated deliverables.

Responsabilités

• Adjudicates value conclusion discrepancies and ensures appraisal accuracy.
• Leads or participates in special projects focused on corrections, reconsiderations, or quality assurance risk concerns.
• Maintains knowledge of policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines governing residential appraisal practice.
• Performs quality assurance reviews of valuation products delivered to the Bank.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
