The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction administration, with strong communication and leadership skills, and can guide Field Coordinators on mid-sized projects.

Qualificações

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Water/wastewater infrastructure construction experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience mentoring younger inspection staff.
• 10+ years of general construction administration/observation experience, preferably in water/wastewater facilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with project participants.

Responsabilidades

• Observe and manage contractor work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Review on-site construction work for conformity with contract drawings and specs.
• Facilitate coordination between Owner and Contractor to protect Owner operations.
• Assist with construction administration docs: RFIs, RFCs, field orders, claims, submittals, schedule reviews, meetings, payment applications.
• Supervise and train Field Coordinators and coordinate small to mid-sized projects or portions of larger ones.

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an individual to serve as a Field Coordinator/Construction Manager on major water and wastewater infrastructure renewal projects. Duties include all aspects of construction inspection, administration and coordination of management. Primary function in this position is to observe and manage contractor's work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

Able to review construction work onsite to ensure compliance with Contract Drawings and Specifications. Facilitates coordination and communication between Owner and Contractor to ensure construction activities do not impact Owner operations. Assists with construction administration documentation: RFI's, RFC's, field orders, claims, submittal/schedule review, meetings, payment applications, etc.

Able to supervise and train Field Coordinators. Has a firm grasp of all technical disciplines, water and wastewater treatment and conveyance. Can independently coordinate small to mid-sized projects, or portions of larger projects.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have an Associate or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Candidates with water or wastewater infrastructure construction experience will be considered in lieu of the aforementioned degree.
• Demonstrated experience to manage and mentor younger Inspection Staff.
• Minimum of 10 years of general experience in construction administration and observation preferably in water / wastewater treatment facility construction experience.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with project participants towards the common goal of successful project completion
