Job summary

HNTB is seeking a seasoned professional to lead a field department responsible for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. The role focuses on managing scope, budget, and quality while coordinating staff across locations to ensure resources are available when needed.

You will oversee contract management, submittal reviews, and the application of the firm’s delivery plans, guiding teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Lead a professional or technical discipline field department and manage scope, budget, and quality control.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and staff assignments across locations.
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to staff and ensure efficient utilization.

Responsibilities

• Develop the project scope and fee quotation and assist in technical proposals and contracts.
• Coordinate project activities, establish priorities and staffing; prepare daily activity summaries and monitor progress against schedules.
• Oversee project controls including schedule coordination and reviewing contractor progress.
• Review submittals for conformance to plans and specifications; work with contractors to meet schedule requirements.
• Implement the firm’s project delivery plan on each project; lead development and execution of the project management plan; mentor the team.
• Provide interpretation and enforcement of contract plans.
