Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word is seeking a Senior Resident Assistant (SRA) to support RLHO Administrators within a housing community comprising one or more residence hall buildings. This student leader role has previously served as a Resident Assistant and aims to promote a positive living and learning environment.

The SRA reports to a Residence Life Coordinator. The Senior Resident Assistant will participate in role modeling, department training, promotional activity, and on-call crisis

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Resident Assistant (RA) expectations & duties
• Access to upkeep platforms such as Social Media, Housing Inbox, StarRez (limited)
• Assist with residential experience (program execution, maintenance follow-up, tours)
• Contribute to Administrative projects & sustainability efforts
• Assist with department processes, data entry & review, weekly staff meetings, department initiatives & collaboration, serve on weekday/weekend/holiday on-call rotation, and office duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

Participate in (i) role modeling for student staff, (ii) Department training sessions, (iii) advertising & promoting residential culture, (iv) on-call crisis response rotation, (v) troubleshooting resident connection concerns, (vi) operations & programming follow-through.
