Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway Energy's Gas Transmission & Storage division seeks an Engineer I/II or Sr Engineer for its Reservoir Development & Optimization Team in Bridgeport, WV. The role focuses on analyzing and improving gas storage pools, developing deliverability curves, and preparing operating reports.

You will support PHMSA and FERC compliance, maintain SIMP, and interact with audits, using ARIES, Surfer, and Fekete Well Test tools. A BS in Petroleum Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering or Petroleum Engineering preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience for Engineer I.
• 1-3+ years of relevant engineering experience for Engineer II.
• 5+ years for Sr Engineer.
• 8+ years for Sr Engineer II with PE required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate, and improve existing gas storage pools.
• Develop storage pool deliverability and injectability curves.
• Prepare annual storage pool operating reports.
• Provide field engineering support on selected pools.
• Maintain PHMSA compliance and Storage Integrity Management Program (SIMP).
• Prepare for PHMSA Storage audits and coordinate with SMEs.
