Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Reservoir Advisor in Spring, Texas to join the oil & gas team on a 1-year contract with potential extension. The role focuses on leading reservoir engineering analyses, simulations, and risk-based planning to support asset evaluation and performance targets.

The candidate should have a university degree and proven experience in reservoir engineering, dynamic modeling, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated reservoir engineering experience in oil & gas.
  • Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience building/running dynamic reservoir models.
  • Ability to conduct reservoir simulations to address issues.
  • Ability to work independently and guide others.
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to the Reservoir Leadership Team to achieve performance objectives.
  • Support and advise the leadership team to maintain high technical standards.
  • Develop plans and programs for the Reservoir Management team.
  • Guide engineers to implement reservoir engineering plans.
  • Perform and guide reservoir simulation studies and other analyses.
  • Evaluate depletion schemes and related technical issues.
  • Lead or participate in peer reviews to ensure high standards.
  • Document results clearly and provide updates to management and partners.
