Job summary

Akur8 is seeking a Senior Reserving Actuary to join our rapidly growing InsurTech team in the United States. The role involves working with Sales, Product, R&D, Marketing, Engineering, and Leadership to modernize reserving processes using our Arius and ReservingOne platforms.

You will act as a subject matter expert, translating insurance concepts for clients, leading training, and guiding the product roadmap with deep P&C reserving expertise.

Qualifications

• ACAS or FCAS credentials
• 5+ years experience with P&C reserving
• 1+ year experience using Arius or ResQ reserving solutions
• Deep knowledge of enterprise P&C reserving practices
• Experience using or building actuarial solutions and leading software implementations
• Strong understanding of insurance reserving processes

Responsibilities

• Lead proofs of concepts and demos of Akur8 reserving solutions; tailor presentations for stakeholders.
• Provide industry expertise to the product team to guide the road map for the next-gen reserving product.
• Lead client training and implementation to ensure seamless adoption of the software.
• Present at industry conferences and Akur8 Academy Webinars to advance thought leadership.
• Advocate for clients inside the company by sharing feedback with sales and product teams.
• Demonstrate mastery of actuarial calculations and reporting for reserve analyses.
• Develop and maintain relationships with delivery partners to support training and client delivery.
