Job summary

Ally Insurance seeks a Senior Actuarial Analyst to develop and support a robust reserving framework. You will independently lead projects, perform advanced analytics, and communicate results to leadership. The role offers high visibility and growth opportunities, with programming in R and SQL and a hybrid/remote work option.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years actuarial experience, ACAS or near ACAS, strong communication, and collaboration skills across pricing, product, and reserving teams.

Qualifications

• ACAS or near ACAS; 5+ CAS exams completed.
• 4+ years actuarial or data science experience; exposure to ratemaking or reserving is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Programming in R required; SQL useful.

Responsibilities

• Support a reserving framework for insurance work, using standard actuarial techniques and advanced models.
• Lead, develop, and communicate advanced analytics to Management and Senior Leadership.
• Foster innovation within the team and across the organization.
• Collaborate in product development, pricing, and reserving processes.
• Develop reserve indications, produce ranges, and perform advanced analytics.
• Support development of associates in actuarial capacity per Ally vision.
