Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Researcher 3 to lead advanced capabilities of the ELM model in a DoE-funded project. You will guide analyses of microbial communities coordinating nutrient exchange and carbon dynamics in freshwater wetlands, and apply systems biology models to predict methane flux responses.

Requirements include a Master’s or Doctoral degree with substantial research experience and 5–6 years of relevant industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctoral degree, or equivalent experience.
• Doctoral degree preferred with substantial research experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead advancement capabilities of the ELM model within our DoE funded research.
• Coordinate microbial community data analyses to test trait networks across wetlands.
• Apply modeling frameworks to understand and predict freshwater greenhouse gas flux responses.
