Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a related discipline.
• Eight years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in rodent work and proteomic research is preferred.
• Grant writing and manuscript preparation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, formulate research methods, and conduct pre-clinical translational studies in proteomic analyses of auditory, neurosensory and cardiac systems.
• Lead projects and supervise lab staff, collaborating across departments and institutions.
• Co-author publications and present results at meetings; participate in acquiring research funding.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee daily lab operations and inventory.
