The role leads independent and collaborative research, guides graduate education, and mentors residents and staff while advancing diagnostic assay development for precision medicine at Travis AFB, CA.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field or equivalent research experience.
• Proven expertise in advanced molecular technologies and assay development.
• Experience mentoring residents and scientific staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of diagnostic assays for translational research.
• Mentor junior staff, residents, and trainees within the CIF Diagnostic Research Laboratory.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance bench-to-clinic research goals.
