Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Research Scientist focused on System Software and I/O to advance scalable storage accesses by GPU threads. You will develop new architectures and system software enabling multi-GPU platforms, and analyze OS/CPU/GPU interactions while collaborating across teams.

You will publish original research and present at conferences, with a strong track record in system software and GPU architecture required.

Qualifications

PhD in CE/CS/EE or equivalent with strong background.
5+ years of research in computer architecture, OS, systems, compilers or HPC.
Demonstrated expertise in a focused area with ability to be go-to resource.
Experience with experimental computer architecture research and software infra development.
Track record of well-documented open-source software release.
Proficiency in C, C++, CUDA, Python and scripting languages; MPI/NACL a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop novel architectures and system software for scalable multi-GPU platforms.
Analyze interplay between OS, CPU and GPU architectures and algorithm design.
Collaborate with software research, hardware engineering, and product teams.
Publish original research and present at conferences and events.
