The successful candidate will lead investigator-initiated research in infectious diseases, secure extramural funding, and disseminate results via publications and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement major investigator-initiated health services and epidemiology projects in infectious diseases
• Secure external funding through federal, foundation, or industry grants
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences
• Collaborate with MAPRI teams and external partners on study design and analysis
• Mentor MAPMG staff, physician researchers, and research interns
• Contribute to peer review and grant review activities
