Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Senior Recruiter - Research to lead full-cycle recruitment across research, technology, and administration. You will partner with hiring managers to craft sourcing strategies for scientific and technical roles, manage timelines, and enhance candidate experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands at least 5 years in sourcing and lifecycle recruiting, with a track record in life sciences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with candidate sourcing and full life cycle recruiting.
• Minimum 2 years of operational excellence including creation of process documentation and project management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience recruiting in the life science, biotech, research industry.
• Experience working on high-volume as well as high-touch, complex professional and leadership positions.
• Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial candidate screenings to qualify them within the position requirements and share information on the organization, compensation package, and position details.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing strategies for scientific, administrative, and technical positions.
• Balance requisition assignments and timelines for recruitment.
• Develop relationships with hiring teams and apply knowledge of department needs to align recruitment strategies.
• Maintain a focus on candidate experience throughout all phases of the recruiting process.
• Participate in both in-person and virtual recruiting events such as college recruiting, industry conferences, and career fairs.
• Capture and maintain complete documentation on candidates’ qualifications and status in systems and within compliance guidelines.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and processes to make recommendations for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
