Job summary

Harvard University’s Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health seeks a full-time Senior Research Project Manager to oversee the Apple Women’s Health Study (AWHS) and related lab activities.

You will coordinate with principal investigators, staff, and external partners to ensure timely deliverables across multiple projects. The role requires leadership, rigorous project management, and strong communication skills, with responsibilities spanning SOP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Master's Degree or MPH is strongly preferred.
• Experience or training in epidemiology, public health, and/or industry/technology is preferred.
• Experience with IRBs, protocol development, training research staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the AWHS and coordinate overlapping research, administrative, and operational activities within the Mahalingaiah Lab.
• Work with Principal Investigators and team to establish priorities, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Develop and monitor project timelines, milestones, workplans, and reporting requirements; manage competing priorities across AWHS and lab activities.
• Coordinate communication among research personnel within and across institutions, including study sponsor and external partners.
• Assist with developing and implementing standard operating procedures; coordinate IRB submissions and sponsor-related documentation.
• Serve as liaison with Advarra and other review partners to facilitate timely IRB approval.
• Coordinate data management documentation and lab documentation updates.
• Support recruitment, retention, and communications planning as relevant.
