Job summary

Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is seeking a Research Assistant IV (Non-Lab) to support a SBS research program. The role involves coordinating day-to-day operations, liaising with department and university staff, and managing projects funded by foundations and public health agencies.

The position is part-time with a 17.5-hour schedule. The successful candidate will assist with literature reviews, progress reports, and manuscript preparation, while exercising independent judgment on

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in an academic or research environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide project-specific support to assist Dr. Williams’ research activities
• Assist with literature reviews to inform study implementation and manuscript preparation
• Monitor overall study progress and assist with annual/final progress reports
• Schedule and attend all research team meetings
• Prepare study manuscripts and resource materials for the study website
• Draft/edit correspondence, reports and materials using word processing, spreadsheets and databases
• Support day-to-day communications and outreach with internal and external partners
• Exercise judgment to resolve logistical, technical and conceptual challenges
• Perform other duties as assigned
