Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University, School of Public Health, Health, Behavior and Society, seeks a Sr. Research Project Coordinator to manage day-to-day activities of complex projects under the Institute for Global Tobacco Control.

Responsibilities include developing data collection tools, ensuring protocol compliance, budgeting, and coordinating with Bloomberg Initiative partners to implement and disseminate findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Three years of related experience.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PI or senior staff to ensure feasibility of study design.
• Develop SOPs and data collection forms.
• Oversee data collection procedures and tools; conduct background research.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and regulations.
• Participate in budgeting.
• Set up data collection systems and ensure data validity.
• Organize and quality control study data.
• Recommend protocol changes based on results and goals.
• Conduct literature searches and extract information.
• Serve as liaison with Bloomberg Initiative partners; provide technical assistance.
