Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Research Project Assistant II to support a research project involving data collection, field visits, and cognitive assessments. The role includes preparing study materials, organizing data, and performing basic analyses under supervisors' guidance.

You will interact with diverse participants, coordinate visits, and ensure data confidentiality while adhering to protocol. Hybrid work arrangement at the School of Public Health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or graduation equivalent.
• One year of related experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
• This position requires travel up to two hours from campus and applicants must be able to fulfill travel requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; education may substitute for experience per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing operational plans to meet research goals.
• Set up tools and procedures for data collection and study processes.
• Collect and organize data per study requirements (interviews, questionnaires, etc).
• Process data by organizing data records and study files.
• Run basic analyses and prepare routine reports.
• Conduct literature searches and index data.
• Recruit, schedule and conduct study visits per protocol.
• Must pass certification to administer cognitive neuropsychological assessments.
• Use Electronic Data Capture system daily.
