Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Project Coordinator to organize and oversee all research projects led by the Principal Investigator(s). You will manage scheduling, program implementation, and KPI development for finance, quality, and productivity.

Depending on priorities, you may lead activities to ensure timely completion of studies. The role requires strong collaboration with research teams, familiarity with IRB submissions, budgeting, and supervising up to 3 FTEs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field; Master’s degree desirable.
  • Two to three years related experience in research.
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with SPSS and SAS a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team; strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises non-MD/PhD research staff, assigns tasks, coordinates work schedules, ensures trainings.
  • Oversees recruitment flow and coordinates advertising costs.
  • Assists PIs with study design, data management, and data review for publications.
  • Assists with budgeting and managing financial accounts within hospital/policy guidelines.
  • Maintains study regulatory binders and submits protocol-related documents, ensuring IRB compliance.
  • Acts as liaison to researchers at other study sites.
