Job summary

Experis is seeking a Research Program Manager IV to join our client’s Operations team. This remote 12-month position focuses on end-to-end vendor lifecycle management, budgeting, and infrastructure development to support high-impact research initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 7-8+ years in program or operations management, expertise in vendor negotiations and renewals, strong budgeting skills, and hands-on experience with procurement platforms like Coupa.

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years of experience in program or operations management.
• Proficiency in vendor lifecycle processes: negotiations, PO creation, invoice reconciliation, renewals.
• Strong budget management: forecasting, burn tracking, risk flagging, leadership reporting.
• Experience with procurement systems such as Buy@, Coupa, or equivalent.
• Ability to design and maintain operational infrastructure from scratch, including trackers and intake processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end vendor lifecycle management, including SOW scoping, negotiation, PO creation, invoice reconciliation, and contract renewals across multiple research vendors and markets.
• Maintain accurate budget forecasts, track burn rates, flag risks early, and prepare leadership-ready status reports on a regular basis.
• Navigate procurement systems and sourcing processes to establish new vendor engagements, ensure contract compliance, and coordinate with sourcing managers on competitive bids.
• Build and continuously improve operational infrastructure such as trackers, intake systems, and dashboards that serve as reliable sources of truth for teams and stakeholders.
• Manage complex, interdependent timelines across multiple markets, vendors, and internal teams, proactively identifying dependencies and sequencing risks to prevent blockers.
