Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Research, within the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine, Research Division. You will oversee several large projects, developing and directing programs, budgets, staffing, and operations.

The role reports to the Principal Investigator and Medical Director, Dr. Ula Hwang, and requires autonomous work with limited oversight. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare administration or related discipline.
• Minimum of seven years progressively responsible related research experience with at least three years in a managerial capacity over research projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with all management levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management across multiple large-scale projects and programs.
• Supervise research and program staff; coordinate scheduling and professional development.
• Coordinate and communicate program activities with internal and external parties; organize meetings and trainings.
• Manage budgets, staffing, on-boarding, data use agreements, and subawards.
• Prepare grant applications, reports, and progress documents; track milestones.
• Present findings and coordinate seminars, trainings, and seminars.
