Tower Research Capital is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Core Engineering team in New York. You will build a multi-tenant research compute platform and orchestrate large-scale ML workloads across GPUs and CPUs, collaborating with Researchers, PMs, and Infrastructure teams.

You will drive HPC scheduling, Kubernetes-based infrastructure, and cloud/on-prem portability, delivering scalable, observable, and cost-aware systems that empower researchers to push the boundaries of

Qualifications

• Experience with HPC job schedulers (e.g., Slurm) and multi-tenant compute.
• Strong Kubernetes architecture knowledge and GPU scheduling.
• Experience with distributed ML frameworks (Ray) and DL (PyTorch/JAX).
• Hands-on with workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Design vendor-agnostic infra spanning on-prem and cloud.
• Familiar with high-performance storage and fast networks.
• Proven ability to build observability and cost-attribution platforms.
• Platform engineering mindset to reduce researcher friction with efficiency.

• Architect multi-tenant scheduling and isolation across desks.
• Enable multi-datacenter and cloud portability for compute workloads.
• Standardize workflow orchestration across multi-stage pipelines.
