Job summary

UF Health seeks an experienced Research Program Manager to support planning, budgeting and regulatory compliance across a portfolio of studies. You will coordinate study visits, assign tasks, manage staff, review budgets, and maintain documents to ensure sponsor requirements are met.

The role requires hands-on molecular technology experience and collaboration with investigators to advance department objectives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience required
• Progressive research experience in molecular technology required
• Bachelor's degree in health science, management, or related field required
• Master's in public health or health administration preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate 1–2 studies, schedule visits and manage study activities.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance coaching.
• Provide administrative and fiscal oversight of research budgets and financial reporting.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and results and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform basic molecular techniques (nucleic acid isolation, PCR, sequencing) and support next‑gen sequencing activities.
