Share Our Strength is seeking a Senior Research Manager in the Washington, DC area (remote option available) to lead research and evaluation for nutrition and anti-hunger initiatives. You will develop tools, administer surveys, and synthesize findings for diverse stakeholders, advancing program and policy priorities with a strong focus on equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Public Health, Public Policy or a related field.
• 5–8 years of related work experience.
• Applied research and evaluation design, execution, or oversight.
• Mixed methods research experience combining qualitative and quantitative data.
• Experience managing vendors or consultants.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with policy/program impact experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to gather and synthesize learnings on program implementation.
• Develop and administer surveys.
• Create summaries and resources for stakeholders and disseminate evidence.
• Review current research and explain findings to inform strategy.
• Manage third-party research initiatives and disseminate findings.
• Cultivate relationships with researchers and promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in research.
