Job summary

The Leonardo Morsut Lab at the Keck School of Medicine, USC, is hiring a Research Lab Technician III to support experimental work in synthetic biology and tissue engineering. You will plan, execute, and document experiments under the PI, maintaining rigorous records and contributing to methodological improvements.

Strong candidates will have a biology degree, hands-on mammalian cell culture experience, and excellent organizational and collaborative skills in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, biochemistry, or related field.
• Relevant laboratory research experience.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and standard molecular and cellular biology techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, and evaluates research experiments under the PI's direction.
• Performs cell culture, molecular biology, protein analysis, microscopy and related procedures.
• Maintains complete lab records and analyzes experimental data.
