The role supports daily lab operations and conducts experiments under supervision, with opportunities to lead defined projects as skills grow. The ideal candidate holds a BS or higher in biology or related field, has hands-on wet-lab experience, and can work independently after training.

Qualifications

• BS degree in biology or related field with hands-on wet-lab experience.
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology, cell culture, histology, microscopy, or related techniques is desirable.
• Experience with research experiments and troubleshooting procedures; ability to work independently after training.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research experiments under supervision of postdocs and senior staff.
• Assists with experimental planning, protocol optimization, troubleshooting, data collection, and analysis.
• Assists with mouse colony management, including breeding and genotyping.
• May perform mouse procedures and surgeries following training and approved protocols.
• Participates in daily laboratory operations and maintains organized records.
• Maintains laboratory supplies and ensures safety compliance.
