Job summary

The University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor seeks a Research Lab Tech Senior - Intermediate/Associate Underfill to join the Duncan Lab in the Department of Cell & Developmental Biology. The role focuses on molecular genetics within a membrane traffic project, with a collaborative, growth-minded team environment.

You will perform cell culture (microbial and mammalian), fluorescence microscopy, protein work, and genotyping, while helping organize lab data and train new members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Senior) with 1-2 years experience or equivalent.
• HS Diploma or AA with 0-1 years experience for Associate; Bachelor's preferred.
• HS Diploma or AA with 1-3 years experience for Intermediate; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cell culture (microbial and mammalian).
• Fluorescence microscopy.
• Protein extractions, western blot, subcloning, genotyping.
• Statistical analysis.
