Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to develop new products and processes and to increase JM's sales and competitive advantage. You will lead multi-stage development, including pilot trials and transition to operations, driving technical excellence and business impact.

Responsibilities include leading projects, deploying engineering standards, and developing patents or IP. The role requires advanced engineering expertise and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in mechanical/ceramics/chemical/electrical engineering.
• Glass industry background in hot end, forming or melting areas preferred.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderate to long term projects to deliver business advantages and pursue IP opportunities.
• Develop standards and deploy them at the plant level across JM.
• Lead new product commercialization from prototyping to operations; may supervise related duties.
