Job summary

Goliath Partners is seeking an exceptional Senior Research Engineer to tackle one of the hardest problems in frontier AI. You will determine which data will improve the next model before training, working across dataset enrichment, data impact on performance, world models, and cross-functional technical strategy.

This is a highly senior IC role with significant technical influence across the organization, not simply data pipelines or infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience with multimodal data (images, video, robotics) and large-scale ML.
• Deep understanding of data quality and its impact on model performance.
• Experience operating at frontier-model or production-scale.
• Strong cross-functional technical leadership and judgment.
• Ability to solve ambiguous research and engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Dataset enrichment and evaluation to improve model performance.
• Assess how training data affects downstream model results.
• Contribute to world models and frontier multimodal AI initiatives.
• Shape technical strategy across research, data and model teams.
• Serve as a senior IC with influence beyond pipelines or infra.
