Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) seeks an experienced Research Engagement Manager to bridge cutting-edge research and strategic stakeholder engagement. The role supports the Advanced Concepts Laboratory (ACL) and may be located in Atlanta or other field offices.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Develop and foster collaborative research between GTRI and Georgia Tech academic units; Minority Serving Institutes; industry and government agencies.
Develop, implement and manage a Technical Communications plan for GTRI to promote technical excellence and disseminate advanced research and technology within GTRI.
Foster technical excellence within GTRI by developing, promoting, supporting and managing technical communities of interest across GTRI.
Develop, implement and manage student research programs such as graduate fellowships and internships.
Travel is expected (approximately 10% - 25%).
Perform other duties as assigned.
