The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) seeks an experienced Research Engagement Manager for the Advanced Concepts Laboratory (ACL). This role bridges cutting-edge research with sponsor engagement, translating innovative concepts into deliverable solutions for government and industry partners.

Based in Atlanta with flexible site options, the candidate will develop strategic engagement plans, manage relationships with sponsors, and lead programs that advance national security research across

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and foster collaborative research between GTRI and Georgia Tech academic units and partner institutes.
Develop, implement and manage a Technical Communications plan for promoting technical excellence and disseminating advanced research.
Foster technical excellence by developing, promoting and managing technical communities of interest across GTRI.
Develop, implement and manage student research programs such as graduate fellowships and internships.
Monitor project execution to ensure sponsor requirements and quality standards.
Coordinate sponsor visits, technical demonstrations, and capability briefings.
Identify emerging sponsor needs and translate them into research opportunities.
