The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) seeks an experienced Research Engagement Manager to join the Advanced Concepts Laboratory (ACL). This sponsor-facing role bridges cutting-edge research with strategic engagement, translating concepts into actionable solutions for government sponsors and industry partners.

Based in Atlanta, the role supports collaboration across GTRI labs and Georgia Tech, coordinating technical communications, student programs, and stakeholder relationships while

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and foster collaborative research between GTRI and Georgia Tech academic units and partners.
Develop, implement and manage a Technical Communications plan for ACL.
Foster technical excellence within GTRI by building communities of interest.
Develop, implement and manage student research programs such as graduate fellowships and internships.
Travel 10–25% to sponsor sites and conferences.
