Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Senior Registered Dietitian to support the Bariatric Surgery Program at the McNair Campus in Houston. You will perform nutrition assessments, craft individualized care plans, and provide pre/postoperative counseling to diverse patient populations.

The role emphasizes education, collaborative practice with surgeons and clinicians, and participation in program quality initiatives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Five years of relevant experience.
• Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed Dietitian by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR).

Responsabilidades

• Conducts comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments for bariatric surgery patients.
• Develops individualized, evidence-informed nutrition care plans.
• Provides preoperative and postoperative nutrition counseling and education.
• Teaches individual and group education sessions and bariatric informational classes.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary care team to promote continuity of care.
