Job description

This position be responsible for powder development and driving new technics for new alloy systems exploration. This role involves collaborating with various teams for Technology development, PDP and Customer development projects, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers and maintain our leading position in the market.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and be involved in powder development projects. Be responsible for driving the exploration of new alloying systems and new techniques for powder manufacturing.
  • Ensure tasks / projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards.
  • Engage with key stakeholders including suppliers, partners, and customers to gather insights and feedback. Foster collaboration across different functional groups.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance business relationships and stay informed on new technology development.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to innovation projects and R&D activities. Optimize resource allocation to maximize innovation output.
  • Perform all other related activities as assigned.
Job Requirement:
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or any other related fields.
  • Advanced degrees (master’s or Ph.D.) in material science disciplines are highly desirable.
  • At least 4-7 years of experience in the semiconductor material industry, with a proven track record in metallurgy, powder development, materials characterization, or a similar role.
  • Experience in leading technical teams and projects.
  • Hands‑on experience in various metallurgy / powder development equipment.
  • Knowledge of metallurgy, powder manufacturing, and the capability of developing / exploring new technics to fulfill the new product development.
  • Basic understanding of the solder alloy properties, powder manufacturing process, and applications of semiconductor materials.
  • Knowledge of global and local regulations regarding chemical and material safety, waste management, and environmental impact.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to draw meaningful conclusions.
