Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with four (4) years of research data management experience required.
• In lieu of 4 years research data management experience, an associate degree and two (2) years of research data management may be considered.
• Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required: Clinical trial management systems and electronic medical record (EMR) experience required.
• Must possess highly effective verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with staff and other health care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Review and synthesize information from medical records (clinic notes, pathology reports, radiology reports, patient questionnaires) to extract trial data as specified by assigned protocols.
• Ensure data requirements are in alignment with good clinical practice and Federal regulations; review and resolve data queries.
• Work independently and autonomously with coordinators and monitors to support multiple complex projects.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and health care professionals; assist in training other data coordinators.
