Job summary

Moffitt is seeking a Research Data Coordinator II to autonomously review and synthesize information from medical records to extract industry, cooperative, and investigator-initiated trial data per protocols. You will ensure data requirements meet good clinical practice and federal regulations, handling complex tasks with increasing responsibility.

The role collaborates with study coordinators and monitors, supporting data queries, data capture, and protocol compliance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of data management experience; AA/AS degree plus 1 year acceptable.
Effective verbal and written communication with staff and health care professionals.
Experience using automated data processing techniques and database software.
Must interpret medical records and maintain subject data confidentiality.
Comfort talking to physicians and health care professionals; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Review and synthesize information from medical records to extract trial data per protocols.
Ensure data requirements align with good clinical practice and regulations.
Handle data queries, data capture, and protocol-specific reporting.
Collaborate with study coordinators and monitors on protocol obligations.
Support higher patient volume or trial complexity; mentor junior staff as needed.
Present in department meetings; participate in RDC career growth path.
