Job summary

The University of Notre Dame seeks a Senior Research Associate with deep expertise in character education, virtue development, and higher education to join the Virtues & Vocations team at the Institute for Social Concerns. The role focuses on designing, delivering, and evaluating the Integrating Virtue Together program for faculty nationwide.

Lead the project through collaboration with Notre Dame faculty, develop resources for alumni, and translate the IVT framework for our web platform.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree with or Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience developing scholarly networks nationally and internationally.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Teaching and program development experience.
Ability to organize and present research material to professional audiences.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the Integrating Virtue Together program through design, delivery, and evaluation of workshop series.
Support faculty and alumni participating in the program with mentoring.
Connect current research to programmatic development of virtue and justice.
Facilitate connections with Notre Dame faculty for virtue-centered courses.
Identify and apply for grants to sustain program activities.
Serve as editor for magazine and journal; write articles for newsletter.
Create case studies and sample assignments for the web platform.
