Advanced Group in Arizona is seeking a Senior Research Associate to support R&D programs through experimental design, execution, data analysis, and problem-solving. You will contribute to complex research initiatives, drive process improvements, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.

The role emphasizes designing, executing, and interpreting laboratory experiments, developing methods, and mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline.
• 4-6+ years of relevant laboratory or research experience.
• Strong experience designing, executing, and interpreting laboratory experiments.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in relevant laboratory methods and applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience preparing technical reports and scientific presentations.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze laboratory experiments supporting research and development programs.
• Interpret complex data, troubleshoot technical challenges, and recommend next steps.
• Prepare technical reports, protocols, presentations, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and data files.
• Develop and optimize laboratory methods, workflows, and experimental approaches.
• Participate in cross-functional investigations, technical teams, and project initiatives.
• Contribute to process improvements and support publication or intellectual property activities.
• Present scientific findings to project teams and stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior laboratory personnel while supporting quality laboratory operations.
