Innova Solutions is hiring a Senior Research Associate in San Diego, CA, for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on developing cell-based assays and MoA studies to support identification and optimization of novel compounds.

The candidate will design experiments, generate cell lines, and collaborate to analyze data. Ideal applicants have a biology degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a master's with 1+ year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related with 2+ years of experience or Master's with 1+ year experience.
• Sterile technique in mammalian cell culture required.
• Experience with transfection, lentiviral transduction, CRISPR knockouts or shRNA is a plus.
• Hands-on assay development or troubleshooting in listed techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cell-based assays to support compound profiling.
• Develop and construct cell lines and MoA study tools.
• Design and execute experiments in cell biology, biochemistry and assay development.
• Perform routine assays consistently and timely.
• Document, analyze and present data promptly.
