Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. seeks an Associate Scientist to perform routine biochemical and cell-based assays in a 12-month contract, onsite in South San Francisco, CA.

The role focuses on following established protocols, maintaining records, troubleshooting issues, and communicating results to the project team. Requirements include 2+ years of relevant lab experience, cell culture, assay execution, and data analysis, with preferred HTS instrument familiarity (Echo, Multidrop) and data tools like GraphPad

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, or related field (required).
• Master's with 5 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's with 10 years (preferred).
• Experience with cell culture and assay execution is expected.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine biochemical and cell-based assays according to established protocols.
• Prepare reagents, samples, and assay materials; operate high-throughput laboratory equipment and assay instruments.
• Record, organize, and review experimental data, and communicate results and observations to the team.
• Analyze assay data and contribute to summaries, presentations, and reports.
• Identify and troubleshoot routine experimental or equipment issues, seeking guidance when needed.
• Follow laboratory procedures for safety, documentation, and data quality.
• Coordinate day-to-day assay materials and activities to support timely execution.
